Lately we've noticed a problem when pushing missing patches to Server 2008 servers. During our June and July patch outages, we've pushed the patches scanned as missing, with restart, and follow-up scans have agreed that the patches were installed. However, Windows/Microsoft Update still shows "New Updates are available" for the same patches that were just pushed. This only seems to happen with our 170 Server 2008 servers, but not our Server 2003 servers. I assume there is a difference in the way that the packages are pushed to Server 2008 servers. Is there a GFI logfile on the client that I can look at to verify that the patches ARE being installed, aside from follow-up scans? Jeremy
