Installed ME 10 over ME 9 on Exchange server. After one day the SBS 2000 mail server (Exchange) stopped forwarding inbound and outbound mails to the smtp interface. GFI Monitor showed inbound mails being processed OK but none were ever delivered. Also internal message traffic was halted (not processing). Check of Exchange showed stores mounted all services running. Telnet to smtp port from outside the network allowed me to post message to mail account but never delivered to users mailbox. MSX Manager showed mail received and placed in "advanced queing."
Had to get mail up, so uninstalled ME 10 and everything started working. Of course being flooded with SPAM --- so need to fix this and get it back up again.
Troubleshooting file submitted to GFI Sunday PM... no response yet. Although troubleshooting was submitted because "auto learn" was on and the counter was not incrementing as outbound mail was being sent.
Any thoughts appreciated. I am a reseller and I love the product and so do my customers!

Hi,
Did you receive an auto-reply with a thread number for the troubleshooter files sent to support?
If yes, please let me know the thread\ticket number received.
If not, please re-submit your files to support@gfi.com to enable us to check further.
Add the url of this thread to the body of the mail to avod having to re-describe the issue.

Hi,
I've done the same thing and have the same problem.
I have not received a response.
My ticket number is 26514:70620
rebooting solves the problem, but messages get stuck in queue once again about every 15 hours. It was about 20 hours until I added some more names to my white-list.

same issue here, after a 6-7 hours of work ME will stop and messages will sit in a presubmission que, restart will solve the issue but only for 6-7 hours
|

DNS checking is not the reason of this problem. I didn't use it at all.

Restarting the server did the trick.

Server restart works only for short time (1-2 days), then the same problem is back. Actually I have ME9 back on server which is the only solution at this time.

Have same problem. Have tried all suggested solutions, to no avail. My mail will stop flowing w/in 20 minutes...have had to reinstall 9 to continue functioning. Please post fix to this thread. Many of us are anxiously awaiting solution.

same type of problem... had to do with my local DNS didn't know who it was anymore.
uninstalled gfi 10, cleared the cache, restarted the server, reinstalled gfi 10, it worked fine after that.

The same problem, all messages freeze in queue after a few hours of runnig ME10...
I have SBS server 2000, Exchange 2000 SP3
I have stopped GFI services and I am waiting for a patch.
