Hello,

In the past i have seen some emails moved to the MailSecurity\FailedMails folder. However yesterday we encountered about 40 moved to that folder in one day. I tried moving them to the PickUp folder however they all failed again. Currently we only use BitDefender and Norman. I tried running the manual update for both about an hour ago and a half hour ago BitDefender shows the last update at 06/02/2009 11:21:39 and Norman shows it as being at 06/01/2009 09:30:10. We currently have version 10.0 Build 20060721 installed. I also retried moving the files after performing the update. I tried looking on the forms and found posts with similiar problems, however I don't see solutions to them other then someone saying to perfom the update. How do I know if the problem is with bitDefender or Norman?

DominicT,

Do you know at which point of email scanning are the emails failing?

Can you try disable BitDefender and restart the GFI MailSecurity Scan Engine and see if the problem persists.

Should the problem persist, do the same for Norman.

I would also suggest upgrading to the latest build. Please download it from: http://software.gfi.com/mailsecurity10.exe

Where can I find instructions on upgrading to the lastest build? I can only seem to find the normal install instructions.
