What is the best way to ensure my emails sent to the journaling mailbox always make it through the ME SPAM filters.  I am avoiding white listing the journal@mydomainsasecret.shh as it fills up the white list log file.  Is there a way to set ME to always ignore emails sent to that address (without white listing) or is white listing the preferred method?

newfood,

The journaling action takes place after GFI MailEssentials scans the message.  These messages are journaled once the message hits the Exchange server which is after GFI MailEssentials is done with the mail.

Thanks for the response John.

I occasionally get journal messages caught by some of GFI ME spam filters (most are set to redirect the messages to a folder).  If I have read your response correctly, this should not happen if I have MA set up correctly?

newfood,

This looks like an external message was sent from one of your users directly to the journal mailbox.  This is not a typical journal action.  If you look at the message itself is this a legitimate message or is a spoofed spam message?

I have two exchange servers.  One front end (cgmail) and one back end (skmail).  When I originally set up journaling, I set it up on my main mail server (cgmail), which has journaling set for all mail stores on the front end, and the back end servers.

I suspect these messages are because the users are on the skamil store.  I had setup my skmail to use the same journaling mailbox as cgmail.  I'm going to go through and re-read the manual, but should I have a different journaling mailbox for each server?
