I believe I found the problem. In Exchange 2000, the Recipient Update Service(s) were pointing to the old non-existent domain controller. To correct this, use Exchange System Manager to change the Recipient Update Service(s) to point to a valid domain controller. In our setup there are two, one for the enterprise configuration and one for the domain. Right click on the service, select properties, click browse and select a valid DC. I did a re-install of FAXMaker just to be sure. Everything seems to work again. Gary
