anybody know why ME ver. 11 quits for hours at a time, then starts back again.

Could you please elaborate on the issue?

What is happening exactly? Are any services stopping? Do you see any errors in the Event Application and System logs?

Do any emails flow through the Monitor? Are they processing successfully?
