Hi

I have setup a 2nd virtual SMTP server on port24 to allow bulk emails to be sent out without going via ME, I have checked the bindings and its correct but now me14 is processing the emails and they are going into my outbound archive.

Something has changed in ME14 compared to ME12!!!

astyler,

Is this an Exchange 2000/2003 or Exchange 2007 installation?  Is GFI MailEssentials 14 installed directly on the Exchange server?

its a 2003 sp2 install and on the same box.

with two smtp virtual servers with one bound to GFI and one not (running on port24 same ip), but it seems the second it also getting included in mail processing.

it has only been like this since me14, me12 didn't exhibit this proble.

Hi Astyler,

can you please download ftp://ftp.gfi.com/support/smtpreg.zip. Unzip the script to the machine running MailEssenials and from command prompt run the following command:

cscript smtpreg.vbs /enum > C:\smtpreg.txt

Zip up and send us smtpreg.txt using our support form using this link

It would be a good idea to include a set of troubleshooting files as per http://forums.gfi.com/General_Information/m_900727096/tm.htm

Hi all

I followed this KB article

http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003220

but I am still seeing email relayed via a 2nd smtp virtual server being processed by GFI ?
