ME14 - Exchange 5.5 W2K

Status: offline 		In reading the forum and the info page I find nothing specifically mentioning if MailEssentials 14 will work on a Windows 2000 SMTP server. Will it?

Also, will it still work with Exchange 5.5 if the MailEssentials 14 Server is a gateway server (not on the same machine as Exchange 5.5)?

Windows Server 2008 (x86 or x64) or Windows Server 2003
Standard/Enterprise (x86 or x64) or Windows 2000
Professional/Server/Advanced Server (Service Pack 1 or higher)
or Windows XP

Access to a mail server machine such as Microsoft Exchange
Server 2007, 2003, 2000 (SP1), 5.5, 5, 4, or Lotus Notes 4.5 and
up, or any SMTP/POP3 mail server.

There are other requirements that you should review. pg 7-8.
