I've got a maxed out C: drive and was hoping to install onto a D: drive but the Browse button is disabled? Is that because this is an "upgrade"?

According to the manual when you run it as an upgrade the destination would be disabled. You can probably still run it as a new install and choose the destination folder, but of course you'd have to migrate all of your settings yourself.

You will need to uninstall and delete the HKLM\Software\GFI\ME12 key before you can change the directory

OK - that's what I thought - after 6 or 7 versions of ME now I was hoping you'd "fix" this limitation...

Its a limitation put in place because that when you try to install GFI MailEssentials to upgrade it and you change the directory it will not pickup any of your old settings.

I understand that, but I bet there is a better chance of success if GFI does the directory transfer via code since you know all the files rather than "joe six pack" copy paste all the various files over...
