We have just exceeded our licenses on MailSecurity and have since noticed some very odd behaviour. MS will quarantine emails as per our rules but now doesn't give the option for us to release them, or even see them! We are in the process of purchasing a new license but why on earth does MS decided to 'half-work'. Surely it should either stop filtering altogether or carries on as usual? We have had to disable the product until we receive the new license. There must be a way to change this or have this sorted in a future update. Thanks

benjsmyth,

This is odd behavior as the behavior expected would be to pass all emails.  What build of GFI MailSecurity 10 are you running?

We are running on MailSecurity version 10, build 20080614. We have now got the new licenses however, we would still like this issue investigated so we don't come to the same problem if we run out of licenses in the future. Many thanks

benjsmyth,

If you would like the issue investigated by technical support as to why this happened in your installation I would suggest creating a support ticket at http://support.gfi.com/supportrequestform.asp.

Thanks for the reply John.

We are actually still having the problem even after updating to the new license. I will create a support request.
