Dear all,

Kaspersky antivirus server, installed on my isa gateway, always detect virus in the GFi directory
(CF - Image).

Could you explain me, how to avoid this.

Thanks a lot

You need to set the Kaspersky file system scanner so it does not scan the GFI program folder and subfolders.

You also should set it so it does not scan the ISA log directory or the ISA cache directory.

Hello Flysurfing!

Check the link that Nicks has provided in his reply.  Ensure to include subfolders as well when you specify the WebMonitor installation directory.

WebMonitor has its own Antivirus engines hence each antivirus engine has virus detection signitures which are detected by your Kaspersky antivirus as viruses.  You should never scan antivirus directories with other antivirus products.

Regards

Thanks Sandra for your help !

I tried what advices me Nicks.

But, it seems i have to create a mask for each virus type.

I think with Kaspersky it is not possible to exclude a whole directory.

What do you think of that ?

Thanks

Hello,

The document by Kaspersky shows that you are able to create exclusions for a whole directory.
