Does this occur with every Recieved Fax?

Is this is occuring from particular Senders, or from any Random Sender?

If the same sender would send the Fax Again, does it fail again?

Can you please clarify the exact Device Model you are using?

Thank you!

If a solution is found to this problem, please post how to resolve it.  We have had this "Invalid Fax Size" message since upgrading to Version 12, Build 20061005.

In addition, since upgrading to Version 12 we keep receiving phantom failure messages that come about 20 minutes after a successful fax is received.   GFI has been looking into this problem for months with developers, but still have no resolution.

Anyway, please post the fix for Invalid Fax Size.  It sounds like there are a number of users that are experiencing this same problem.  Thanks.

We have investigated a large number of issues regarding FaxMaker reporting that the Fax has an "Invalid Fax Size" and was able to come to a conclusion.

When this error is being reported, the device which is recieving the Fax, due to some cause will not receive the Fax correctly. When FaxMaker will attempt to process this fax, the fax will have an invalid Fax Size, and therefore generates the error message in question.

If you are encountering this issue, we would recommend you to contact the Fax Card or Modem manufacturer for further investigation.

Thank You!

My invalid fax size Story is a very long story with several updates, fixes, and a bunch of mails ...

my solution was to switch from AVM C4 to a Diva Server BRI4 Card ... now i get this error only in 0,1% of my faxes and the sender got an "ERROR" ... with the AVM C4 the sender got an "OK" but the fax never arrives ...

My old thread should be somewhere in the archieve...

greetings, Fabian

I'm seeing the same Invalid fax size failure using a BrookTrout TR1034 4-port analog board.  I've contacted Cantata Technology, as advised by GFi.  I'll post whatever I find out.
