[color=#000000 size=3]Dear,
[color=#000000 size=3]
[color=#000000 size=3]When i try to send a fax from outlook i see the following message in the smtp_in.log: 2009-08-11,15-06-12,GFI FAXmaker Test Fax,'GFI FAXmaker' <[color=#0000ff size=3]fax@faxmaker.com[color=#000000 size=3]>,'GFI FAXmaker' <GFI FAXmaker>,Failed - The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 501 5.1.3 Invalid address
[color=#000000 size=3]
[color=#000000 size=3]I think the problem is that there are two domains.: MD and monard-adv. The gfi faxmaker is installed on the monard-ADV domain and the mailserver is in the MD domain. There is a trust between both domains and i can't receive the faxes and these are receiving in outlook. How can if ix this issue that they can send faexs trough outlook. is this on the local smtp service of the fax server.

Unless the one domain was created under the same forest, this setup will not work for you.  Just adding the two way transitive trust is not enough to have the proper user lookup with GFI FAXmaker.

How can i get the gfi worked correctly. Is it a solution to log in under the administrator of the MD domain and so add the users in gfi or is that not a working soltuion.

Reinstall them under the domain of the mailserver.

Recreate the users in the forest of your mail server would be your only option.

I have reinstalled the gfi when i was logon with the administrator of the MD domain but i can only added users from the monard-adv domain. I think there is now other way then place the server in the MD domain or is there a another working solution.

Your only other option, being that it definately appears that the secondary domain was not initally created under this forest, is to install GFI FAXmaker in SMTP mode.  You can do so by supplying a local administrator account when prompted for credentials, and then you would add each user in the form fields.
