Hi - I'm in the US and I can't dial fax numbers longer than 15 digits. Here's my setup: - Dell PowerEdge 2650 Server (Old but recently rebuilt) - Dialogic TR1034+P8H-T11NR Fax Board (Brooktrout) - GFI Faxmaker 14.2 (working great) - Siemens HICOM PBX Diagnostics on the fax board seem to be fine, I can dial out locally, nationally (US), and I can dial up to 15 digits of an international number; the problem is that most international numbers consist of greater than 15 digits (after dialing 9011+Country Code). In the diagnostic software if I dial an international number (with the digits past 15 truncated) it will pick up the line, dial, wait, and fail for an expected reason (no answer, human detected, etc). Otherwise, if I dial the entire number (or any number greater than 15 digits) I get an immediate failure with this error message: Special Information No Circuit Detected. Any help or insight on this would be appreciated. Siemens tells me that they don't care how many digits I send, GFI says the same. I can dial international from a handset through the PBX with no problems. =) Thanks!!! Chris

Thanks Jimmy - I was hoping someone in the community may have had experience with this, because I am having problems trying to get anyone to admit that their system is the cause of the problem. Telco & PBX vendors tell me that it is the software, and GFI tells me that it is the PBX or Telco. I submitted a trouble ticket using the link you sent, if anyone else out there has experience configuring a Brooktrout/Faxmaker setup through a PBX please let me know if there's a trick to making it work for international. =) Thanks!

It was the protocol setting. I was using AT&T ESS #4 which is apparently limited to 16 digits ('9' + 15). I changed it to Bellcore National ISDN-2 Standard and the international calls are working now.
