Today i tried to install MA6 (as an update to MA5).
But after the box with 'Auditing Database Schema Update', wich tells us to do an Audit Database Schema Update after the installation, the 'Next' button does nothing.

Hi t.janssen,
What is the build number of the MailArchiver 5 you are trying to upgrade? This can be found in the User Interface in the GFI MailArchiver Node.
When clicking on the Next button the Installation is hanging (showing hour glass icon) or is it just doing nothing until Cancel is clicked?

Hi Cedric,
I'm using build 20071109.
And it is just doing nothing (I can click Back to go back or Cancel to abort installation).
Mailarchive6.exe is not taking any CPU-time.
I am using Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 server, MA5 runs on the same server.

Hi Gr. Timo,
Could you kindly provide me with the installation log file which can be found here:
%temp%\marc6_x64.log (For MailArchiver 64bit)
%temp%\marc6_x86.log (For MailArchiver 32bit)
could you send it to the following email address: cedric[at]gfi.com
also I suggest trying to install the service release for MailArchiver 5 prior on installing MailArchiver 6. This can be found:

I have installed the service release for MA5 and indeed the installation for MailArchiver 6 now works fine.

I have the exact same issue on version 20071109. Where can I get the service release to install before I put 6 in place? I can't find it on the download page.
Please advise.

I had the same problem after installing the ExchangeMapiCdo,
So i uninstalled it then was able to install MailArchiver, after which i installed the ExchangeMapiCdo
