I am having thie [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Drive][SQL Server]Insert Error: Column name or number of supplied values does not match table definition. - 21S01. This error showed up in my Operational History window. However, the database is not full, and the events seems to be collected. I am also having problem with the report module, so I am not quit sure if the events are actually still bing written to the database or not. By the way, the database is on the same server the GFI Events Manager is installed, and it has planty of disk space. The database and transaction log both has plenty of space as well. The error showed up, and will go away for awhile, and show up again. Has anyone out there run into this problem?

Hi, What build numbers are you using? Also the database you are using, was it created by your current ESM build? Note, if you install the EventsManager ReportPack and restore the sample database, then try to use it with EventsManager, you will have such problems. The sample database is for use with EventsManager ReportPack only. Best regards, Calin

Version: 7.0 Build:20061006 The original database was created by the selm 7 beta. If this creates a problem, where can obtain the procedure to uninstall everything, including deleting the database, and start from scracth. The server is also running Dell OpenManage, so I can't just wip the entire box. Thanks.

Hi, Just create the database using the latest release EventsManager build. You can create it on the same SQL Server and assign it another name. Then start using that one instead of the beta version one. There might have been slight changes in between. Then see if you have any issues. Best regards, Calin
