Hi, I am having problems rebuilding one of our indexes. The store says it contains 77282 emails. The index build proceeds normally (going up in 1,000's) until it gets to 49000. Then it goes to 49999 and just stays there. The process appears to still be running (MArc.store.exe and MArc.search.exe activity) and files are appearing/disappearing in the index folder \index0 yet the number of indexed mails doesn't get above 49999. It seems to be going in circles! I have tried stopping all the Mail Archiver processes and removing the cache file, removing the index files and rebuilding from scratch but it gets to the same place each time. Version is Mail Archiver 5, build 20080430 Alex

Hi ajm, Can you please enable debug logging and re-generate the problem? You can follow the procedure at http://forums.gfi.com/General_Information/m_900727063/tm.htm to do this. Once done and you have uploaded the debug logs as described in the link provided, please email me at roderick(at)gfi.com.

Roderick, Thanks for the response. Can I just enable debugging in its current state? I can't really 'reproduce the problem' because it is stuck in a continuous index rebuilding loop... the problem is continuous! Shall I enable debugging for say 10 mins? More? thanks, Alex
