IMAP protocol error. 2 NO Not enough server storage is available to process this command..

Status: offline 		I have a journal mailbox on my exchange server that GFI decided to stop pulling mail from about a month ago. Unfortunately, no one realized this until recently.

We now have a journal mailbox that is 55.5GB and contains over 500,000 messages. When i try to add this journal mailbox as a "mail server to archive" i get this error:

Checking Connection...
Data Sources: Cannot open data source. Additional info: IMAP protocol error. 2 NO Not enough server storage is available to process this command..

I created a new journal mailbox and that is working fine with GFI. How can i get GFI to archive the 500k emails i have sitting in this mailbox?

1. Open both mailboxes in Outlook and move the emails between the 2 mailboxes in chunks of 1000.
2. Use EXmerge to remove the mail from the old box and import into the new box in chunks of 1000.

I recommend chunks of 1000 so that you do not overwhelm the mailbox and run into the same situation from before. Now you an increase the number if you notice that GFI MailArchiver is pulling them out quickly.

I was truely trying to avoid this... Opening a 500k message/55GB mailbox in Outlook is not exactly a quick thing.

Is there any other way?

Status: offline 		Are you not able to use EXmerge to remove the messages from the old account and then put them back in the new account?
