I'm not noticing that our missing patches assessments are pushing IE8. Is this available through LANGuard9 at this time? It's updating everyone to IE7 which is an improvement, but I need to find out (for our System Admins) when IE8 will be pushed out also. I have Automatic Downloads and Automatic Patch Approval enabled.

There was a known issue about a few patches missing with IE8, these have recently been resolved. - Will you ensure your application has downloaded the latest patch database from the "Program Updates" section and try a scan again?

Looks like I will be submitting a Support Request instead....

lanss_9_patchmngmt_en.cab - Unable to install the update package

Failed at least twice.

FYI - The answer to this question for anyone that is curious...Apparently, even though Microsoft says that IE8 was a High or Critical update (can't remember which), LANGuard9 will not push this as a patch/update. You must manually install IE8, then LANGuard9 will patch it from that point on.
