We have started to rebuild the Index for one of our databases and wanted to know if there is a safe way to stop the process?

New in version 6.1 is a pause index rebuild option in the user interface.

Otherwise there's not a clean way to do this, you would have to start the rebuild from scratch if you stopped GFI earlier.
