It's available from the gui. If you edit the notifications settings of the policy that the user hit, you can UNCHECK "send mail to user". - Just remember to CLEAR the text area of any text, before you uncheck it...Otherwise it'll still send the e-mail...

Will you please paste one of the notifications received as a reply so we can best assist you? As for the webgrade database, sometimes restarting the services helps with this issue.  Also, please ensure you are licensed for the WebGrade database and you try a manual update of the software to download the latest WebGrade database.

* I got above info from this site .

I have configured the configuration as following :
===================================================================================================================
\Program Files\GFI\WebMonitor\DebugLogs\WebMonSrvLog.txt  is the right one. If you need more information you can turn the debug mode in the registry:
\HKLM\SOFTWARE\GFI\WebMonitor\Debug (create the key if it doesn't exist) and set DWORD value = 1, than restart WebMonitor.

===================================================================================================================

In my log, it only showed me the other anti-virus software is being upgrated !  Could you possibly tell me what happend with my server. thanks you in advance.

At this point, I would recommend trying to download a copy of the WebGrade database manually once.  This may allow the software to update properly.  Our update servers are password protected and I cannot give out that information unless you open a support ticket.  If possible, please open a support ticket with us, and reference the instructions at http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003205

Hi I have found the real problem as following:( I got the solution from google )

Issue:
On certain machines the WebGrade database fails to initialize and under WebFilter Edition > Web Filtering Policies > WebGrade Database the status remains 'Not Initialized'.

Solution: Decrease the 'Percentage of free memory to use for caching' on the ISA Server by doing the following.
  1. Go to the ISA Server Management, Configuration, right click on 'Cache' and select 'Properties'.
  2. On the 'Advanced' tab decrease the value of 'Percentage of free memory to use for caching' to around 20%.

The percentage of free memory you need to set depends on how much physical memory there is available on the server.

------------for people who got the problem as me--------------------------------------------------------
