Hi All, I have got a question regarding the order of sending out faxes. For example, I have got 10 faxes scheduled from 4PM for every 10 minutes. e.g. 1st on 4PM, 2nd 4:10, 3rd 4:20, etc. If the 1st fax takes more than 10 mins to finish, we say finish at 4:15PM, I found GFI does not pick 2nd, even not 3rd, and just randomly chose one of faxes in the queue. So my question is: 1.Is there a rule for GFI to decide the order of sending our faxes? 2.If a fax is failed, it will try another time straight away or go to the end of the queue and waithing for another try? Cheers Daniel

For your first question, what you can do is try to set priorities for faxes, and this will help in deciding the order. Please check out this forum post: http://forums.gfi.com/Mass_fax_blocks_other_faxes_despite_priority_and_dedicated_line/m_900776407/tm.htm. For setting FAX priorities, you can refer to the api manual: http://www.gfi.com/fax/fax14apimanual.pdf, or select the priority within the FAXmaker client message form (depending on how you send faxes). As for the second question, I believe it will go to the end of the queue and allow the other faxes that have been converted to attempt send. This is a problem with having only one line and sending many faxes. I will do some testing on my end to confirm this is the case, and let you know once I have tested.

If you review the two links posted above, you should be able to find the direction you need to do so. To help you out a little bit, you would want to specify your mail client to send in plain text, and then you would use the text api format specified on pg. 7 of 25 in the api manual listed above for sending with priority levels.
