How can I merge archive databases? Monday, January 16, 2017 8:37 AM (permalink)
we have MailArchiver Version 2015 Build 20150218 with SQL-Server and i should merge some archives in one Database:
2017 gen - mar_1.mdf
2017 gen - mar_2.mdf
2017 gen - mar_505.mdf
2017 gen - mar_506.mdf ( email from 01.01.2017 to 31.03.2017)

The archive "2017 gen - mar_*.mdf" are not connected at the GFI MailArchiver
In the file there are between the 2 and the 50 mails.

Only the "2017 gen - mar_506.mdf" is online and in use.

We should merge "2017 gen - mar_*.mdf"  in "2017 gen - mar_506.mdf"
The archive are full SQL.
How can i do this?
thanx and best regards,

The easiest way is to export the data from these databases and import again.
GFI Archiver will automatically determine the date of the emails and place them in the appropriate database.
If you SQL databases are SQL only you can use the tool mentioned here:
    Otherwise refer to
Please note that for some type of exports some meta data, such as labels, bcc ownership and folder can be lost. For additional help please contact GFI Support.
