Not sure how to state this but is there any way to have Web Monitor filter https traffic.  As it appears to me all I need is an encrypted channel to bypass all the security in Web Monitor.  Thanks

tsin,

GFI WebMonitor does not supports filtering https traffic. More information can be found in the knowledge base article: http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002503

Hi Tarek,

This feature has been requested before, however it has not been implemented in previous versions of GFI WebMonitor. Tsin's request has been added to our requested features list so as to give more importance to the missing feature.

Thank you.

Follow up:  The main reason I posted about this was that I was looking for a product that would filter HTTPS and I would have to go somewhere else to purchase it.  In other words discontinue using WebMonitor because it would be redundant.  HTTPS is becoming a big security issue and blocking it is out of the question.

Do u delete our posts ??!??!?!

i have posted a reply on this thread and i found out that it was gone !!!!

my reply :

but it would be nice from GFI to inlcude in it the HTTPS protocol , instead of having one product for HTTP ( GFI ) and another one for HTTPS.

----EDIT----
Kindly keep the discussion on GFI products only.

Thank you.
