We setup the GFi MailArchiver and it worked for about a week doing archives and such then it stopped archiving anything.  It looks like the SQL database is still getting data stored to it but if I look for emails in a specific person's account they only have a short period of time that emails show up.  I'm hoping this is some kind of configuration problem and the emails are still there.  If anyone has seen this problem before or if you need more info let me know.

One thing it told me I needed to do when I was checking the Archive Stores was update the store so I did that.

Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

When you are looking for this users mail are you browsing or searching?

When I browse I can see the limited selection of emails that were archived.  When I first tried to search I was able to see the same selection as when I browsed but after searching repeatedly after each tweak it isn't bringing up data anymore for searches but browsing still shows the emails that were archived for everybody.

brian.daughtery@moka,

If you go to "Archive Stores" and view the statistics of the database what does it show for indexed emails?  Does this number match the amount of messages that the archive store contains?

Actually no...the statistics total is 1592 and the total when I browse all users is 1114.

brian.daughtery@moka,

If you view the statistics on the database it will say "Archive Store Contains" and give you a number.  At the bottom of that page it will show you the amount of indexed emails.  Can you let me know what both of these numbers are?

Okay, doing some research on my own I discovered that Archiving Active was unchecked in the Mail Servers to Archive section.  I ran the wizard and the statistics numbers are changing.  I'd like to wait until that finishes to see if that has resolved my problem.

brian.daugherty@moka,

Enabling archive should resolve the issue for you.  Let me know if it doesn't.

Okay issue is resolved.  The fix was checking the Archiving Active button, rebuilding the achive store, then rebuilding the index on the archive.  Now everything seems to be working fine.
