Hello

we just upgraded to the latest mailessentials and mailsecurity patches.  While getting these updates, i was pleased to see the reporting package plug in for MailSecurity.  The documentation is a little thin right now but I can figure out most things - but one question I did want to run to the tech center is "what database should the report center connect to ?"

We are using the system on a perimeter server using a local mdb

bmcgee,

You want to use the reports.mdb that located in ..\Program Files\Content Security\MailSecurity\Data.

That worked perfectly - thank you.

After playing with the reports a bit, there is some value to the reporting, but it would be ultimately nicer to have the scheduling features of the Report Center with the flexibility of the reports contained within the Mail Essentials Reports.

If you have a wish list for development - that would be my request.

Cheers

I am now used to the reporting that is on the GFI Mail Essentials reporter.  It would be very nice if I could build departmental reports (by adding email addresses) and schedule monthly reports.  I find that I use the user communications more than most reports but this would reflect my own usage.  I am sure that others might have some thoughts on this.

Thanks for the attention
