This is to inform you that GFI MailSecurity 10 for Exchange/SMTP with Windows Server 2008 support (build 20080614) has been officially released.

Status: offline 		Hi - it's not clear from the release notes, but does this version support installing on a non-Exchange x64 server (eg plain old IIS SMTP 6 or 7) in gateway mode?

Yes, gateway-mode installation is supported.

The KB article related to this release (http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003351) specifically mentions Microsoft IIS SMTP, both x86 and x64.

For Windows Server 2008 installations, we added extra information on how to enable the server roles and features required for this release of GFI MailSecurity 10. This information is available here: http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID001596.
