Hi,

I'm getting hundreds of alerts from the software that state the following:

GFI MailArchiver failed to transfer the archived emails into the backend database.

The following error message was reported:
Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\GFI\MailArchiver\Core\Queue\640ddc09-a0f9-4611-8fd2-64328319ff03.body'.

Regards,
GFI MailArchiver

A little bit of digging on the forums and kb's tells me this is becuase the anti-virus interfered with the Archiving process at some point.
I created the exclusion so this won't happen again, but here is the problem; I can't find any file anywhere with *640ddc09-a0f9-4611* in the name, so although I was going to delete whatever I could find in order to stop the alerts and move on, I can't seem to.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Tony

Tony,

In the C:\Program Files\GFI\MailArchiver\Core\Queue\ there should be a file that has the same file name but different extension.

Hi John,

Thanks for your response.

That's the issue for me exactly. There is absolutely nothing inside of that directory, and no file on the physical disk that matches that pattern, I ignored the extension and searched for *640ddc09-a0f9-4611* specifically.

I have had to turn mail alerts off because it spams me with thousands of messages related to that file. Are the alerts generated on some value located in a table that I can clear?
