Good morning,

I have a weird issue with my GFI. I used to use the product endlessly, but since a couple of days ago, the scans does not complete.

I start scanning my one server that I know used to work. It gets to a point where it starts the missing patches and service pack detection, gets to 3% and then just sits there and does not complete. I've updated the files although I have downloaded them a few times but still nothing.

Then I went to my scanning profiles and clicked on one and clicked on patches to show me the bulletins that are in there and it shows 0 on all the scanning profile. My repository is full of patches.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Shaun

It would be best if we could see a complete set of log files regarding this issue. Would you be able to open a support request online at: http://support.gfi.com/Support/supportrequest.aspx?lcode=en so we can further assist you?

I see this happen occasionally. Usually stopping and restarting Languard fixes the problem for me though.

Thanks. By restarting languard you mean closing the application and then opening again or do you stop and start a certain service?
