Hi all, As mentioned in the 'GFI MailEssentials & Feature Requests' topic started by David Vella, one of the new features planned for GFI MailEssentials 14 is the quick view dashboard, which will show real-time statistics on spam detection. Our plan is that of including the following information within the dashboard: - Count of incoming and outgoing email
- Count of blocked spam
- Pie chart showing count\percentage of spam blocked per module
- Status of key GFI MailEssentials services
- MTA and POP2Exchange logging (which are currently shown in GFI Monitor) with improved MTA logging
- Line graph showing the amount of incoming email & spam counts (with option to choose between Today, This Week & This Month)
On this thread, we'd like to hear feedback from you on the above information list, including suggestions on what can be included\amended to make the dashboard more useful! Looking forward to your feedback!

Would be nice if we can access the dashboard and settings through a web browser from any computer like it is with Mail Security.

Could it also show the efficiency of ME. For example, how close the app is to become over run with messages. We were flooded with spam the other week and the server couldn't keep up. If we could see how much processing power is left would be helpful. Thanks c

Pie charts are pretty, but they aren't as useful as other charts for conveying relative size of series elements. Stick to bar charts for real information visualization.

An indication of the CPU and/or memory usage per running GFI service would be useful too Can a portion of the GFI monitor not also be included in the quick-view dashboard? Regards Pop

It would be nice it you created a simple manageable IIS page that would allow you to control all GFI products. We currently use ME,MA & MS... This woudl have been nice fromthe getgo. A little php and html and java can go a long way in helping admins work more more efficiently. I have currently created a nice little tabbed site within SPICEWORKS 3.0 that works flawlessly.

ConSolIT That sounds real nice ConSolIT ... do you have any more information on that Tabbed Site within Spiceworks? We use it to ... it really is the bom ... Anyhow ... A web based view where we can enable or disable (open/close) information tabs we woult like to see on a daily base, woud be real nice. Look and feel like igoogle. GreetZ David
