Over the past week we've had three instances where faxmaker just quits working.  There will be a fax stuck in the sending state, showing that it's still sending for long periods of time and when you kill it, the queue will fill up.

The line that it was sending on usually goes to uninitialized and does not send out any faxes.  Any attempts to restart the server both automatically through faxmaker, and manually by restarting services only works temporarily.  The server will start sending faxes again but it will stop at some point after about 10-15 faxes are sent.  At this point you have to restart again.

The only fix to this situation has been to reboot the server which is also our exchange server.  So we don't just reboot it during the day if we don't absolutely have to.

Tried loading a new driver last night but it showed the same date as the previous driver.  We are using Faxmaker 12 exchange/smtp.

If you have Antivirus running on the GFI FAXmaker machine, please reference: http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003317.
Also, I would suggest setting DEP (Data Execution Prevention) to disabled or windows essential programs and services only.

What kind of hardware (modem/card) is being used with GFI FAXmaker?

Thanks for the reply.

We're using a Brooktrout TR114 which support told me is past it's end of life anyhow.

We were going to try and replace the card w\ the spare we have to see if it is the card that is having problems.
