Dear Sir,

I install FAXmaker for SMTP 11 on Windows Server 2003. After that, I wish to install client on the same machine but it said that there is no Faxmaker server in the machine!

I install client on another Win2KPro machine, the same!

What's going on?

Hi,
this problem usually occurs when the FAXmaker Server's "\Client" directory is not shared correctly or the share does not exist. Follow the steps below to fix this problem:

1. Browse to the FAXmaker root directory
2. Right click the Client directory and select properties.
3. Open the Sharing tab.

Is there the "FAXClient" share defined in this window?
If yes, press the permissions button and check that there is the permission Everyone - Full Control.
If no, then create a share named "FAXClient" and set it's permissions to Everyone - Full Control.
