EventsManager 8.2.0 Build 20090220

Symptom

Security Event logs on XP and Server 2003 systems clear automatically, as expected.

Security Event logs on Vista and Server 2008 systems do not clear automatically, though they should.

Any Ideas?

This is a known issue with GFI EventsManager and we are working to correct it in the next service release of GFI EventsManager. You can sign up for notifications on when this is released at: http://www.gfi.com/pages/productmailing.htm No time frame on when this release will be ready is available at this time, although we are working to release it as soon as possible.

Has this issue been fixed yet? We're planning a big roll out of 2008 server and I don't want GFI holding us back!!

btw I think this has been an issue since early last year... You think it could be fixed by now.
