Both of my MailSecurity servers are failing to download updates for Email Exploit, Trojans, BitDefender and Norman. Is there something wrong with the update site?

Failed to download Email Exploit update files.

CCompton,

When did you start receiving these errors?

Do you have a firewall in between that is returning an HTML page to GFI MailSecurity, when GFI MailSecurity is actually expecting a zip file from our updates web site?

If you do have a firewall, does it require proxy authentication? You can configure these as per http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002546

The error that you are receiving indicates that MailSecurity is receiving an html file when it is trying to download the content updates (zip file).
