I'm trying to get a handle on what folders are being shared on the network and what permissions are being applied... it's easy to just look at the scan and see the shares on computers and then i can see which users have access etc... but i can't seem to export that to a file or print it in any way to show others. is there a way of doing this?

Kenundrum,

After scanning the machine, go to 'Scan Filters' -> 'Open Shares' which will list the open shares for each scanned machine.

You can then Right click on 'Open Shares' and print or save filter results.

Thanks, i was coming at it from the wrong direction i guess- or i just overlooked. that does exactly what i need.

Is there a way to do this using the ReportCenter? I can see where you can generate a list of shares per machine, but you can't also so show who has access to those shares.

Hi DavidHamm,

this is not possible in the Report Pack, you can however apply a "Shares" filter to the scan result. This will show all open shares on each machine as well as the share permissions. This information is displayed in HTML, but you could print this HTML File as well.
