There is really only one thing that can be addressed by the end user in this scenario. This issue most commonly happens if the link between the GFI EventsManager service and the Microsoft SQL server are severed for any amount of time. Most commonly restarting the GFI EventsManager service can assist with this issue. There may be more serious issues such as your backend database has grown too large. I strongly recommend any user experiencing this issue ensure they are (1) on the latest build of GFI EventsManager (2) restart the GFI EventsManager service and lastly (3) open a support ticket so we can address why this issue is occuring and assist you before the issue becomes any more serious that it is now.
