Hello, GFI, Please, a question for resolve a pre sales in one of our customer. This customer has a Oracle data base, and he need to know report activity about users has access a this data base. Information about WHO connect with Oracle, when, etc. I know that natively is impossible, and I need to know if this is possible by Oracle MIBs. Thank you very much, GFI. Best regards.

From my research, is does appear that Oracle supports SNMP traps. As long as Oracle can send us the information, we can receive it and alert on it as necessary. It will take some custom configuration of our software to create the Event Processing rules, but looks like it can be done. It also shouldn't be too dificult from our side. Configuring Orcale with SNMP, however, would likely be the hard part. If anybody else has tips on setting up Oracle successfully with this type of options, the information would be greatly appreciated. We would be glad to assist you with the rule sets as soon as we can get the information into our software from Oracle.
