Error when trying to run backup - 1.Oct.2009 10:35:18 AM

It seems I can run very small backups normally, (< 2 gigs) but when I try to run a backup that involves more files, like my music library I get an error several hours into the backup.  The error portion of the log follows.  I am using windows xp.   The access violation addresses made me think this might be a memory error but I ran a check of the memory and everything checked out. Any ideas?  The log says it finished with errors, but it didn't seem to back up all of the files.  The drive it is backing up to is a USB external drive connected to this computer.

Access violation at address 033373D1.  Read of address 04D27E92.

Hi tate1711.

Please send me the GBT and LOG files of that task. You can find instructions on how to do that here.

Wondering if you had any ideas on this.  Sent the files last week.  Still getting similar errors.

Hi tate1711,

I've got some files from you, but no GBT, however, the log files shows that you have a combined source (files, plugins, email and registry keys). First, try to split that backup task into 4 separate task (in each add only one source type - files, plugins, email, registry keys). Run each task and see if they still give you errors.
