Most of my computers patch just fine. I have a few that always show this error message. I can find no reference on this site to this message. Any suggestions? The connection to the computer is good enough to identify the patches and service packs needed, all reports look accurate and complete. There's ample RAM and free disk space on each of these units and on the computer running GFI. All are XP Pro. I manually bring them up to date so they are current to the previous patch set at the time this patch session takes place.

Hi,

Do you have any Anti Virus scanner running on the Client machines?

If yes, can you please disable the AV Scanner and try deploy the patches once again.

Thank you!

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the reply.
I do have Symantec EndPoint Protection, latest version with all patches on all the computers. Since most of them work I didn't suspect the AV. I did disable it from both the GFI host computer and a sample target computer and had the exact same result.
I've tried to identify a difference on the several computers that don't work but I can't find one so far. Please, if you have any other suggestions or directions you can point me in I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks again,
-Chris.
