This issue was originally opened with phone support 12/7/07 - Case# CAS-41855-C14B GFI:00432406.  I am still waiting for a solution after 1 month.  I upgraded from Build 20061214 to 20070503 in late Novemeber.  Shortly after I had an issue with the emails not being sent all of the time.  Apparently this was an known issue.  Support provided me with a new alerter.dll Version 1.0.2795.26805 which resolved this issue.  This however created another issue.  Now all of my email alerts that I recieve have additional spaces in them.  See the example below in red.  This can be corrected by changing the alerter.dll back to the original but then I do not recieve emails all of the time.  So this is not a viable solution.  I have also included a portion of my message formatting below for reference although I do not believe this has any relevance.  The email is the same in HTML or plain text.  I have also tried removing all of the tags, saving the changes, then adding only two tags such as %Type% and %Category% (one below the other).  The results do not change.  Due to the security of our facility I cannot send you any files.

We have managed to reproduce the issue using the Alerter.dll discussed in patch below:

Hi,

This issue was reproduced by using Microsoft Outlook as an Email client, however not when using Outlook Express.

At this point the development team is looking at this issue, however you are able to use Outlook Express as an Email Client as a workaround.
