Hello GFI, Just wanna ask. I used the eewiz.exe /iepf to collect once again the emails and store it in a new store/database. When I use the above switch I can collect emails from various users, however my concern is that when I archive again the group with the same switch the error message of quote:
You selected 1 mailboxes. 0 mailboxes were added to the mailbox list. Total mailboxes in list is now 0. 1 mailboxes could not be accessed with the credentials specified. kept on appearing. I host other domain in my Exchange so my @ABC.com users are succesfully archived, the @DEF.com are affected as the error above still displayed. I know that when I use the /mailformbx switch, MARC will not archive those emails that were flag so I use the /iepf Can somebody from GFI give us the complete of switch for EEWIZ? I'm having hard time to locate it even in the Manual. Give us the detail also of each switch. Deriuz

Deriuz, '/iepf' When this switch is specified, the tool will ignore the processing flag set on mail items in Exchange. So if you select an Exchange mailbox or public folder for extraction and it contains emails already marked as processed, this flag will be disregarded and the email is extracted once again. '/dnmpe' This switch instructs the EEWIZ to not flag as processed emails exported from a Microsoft Exchange mailbox. When an email is marked as processed, the last modification time is set to the time the EEWIZ was executed. This creates undesirable side effects when you make use of Exchange mailbox manager policies to delete emails older than n number of days. This behaviour was introduced to give customers the choice of not marking exported emails so as not to change the last modified date. '/mailformbx' The mailbox name is extracted from the Active Directory 'mail' property. The first part before the @ sign. If the following command line switch is specified, '/mailformbx', the full 'mail' property value will be used instead. Default Exchange URL is: http://[machinename]/exchange/[firstpartofmailproperty] With '/mailformbx' switch: http://[machinename]/exchange/[fullmailproperty]

hmm.. I have a question then... I am havnig issues with eewiz.. it can't attach to my mail boxes.. It seesthem, but I get the above error This is my sitution.. and I think it refelcts something in the switches above.. My domain is xxxx.com internally.. My outward eamil addressess are yyyy.com Is the wizard that specific that it can't see the mail box if it has a differnete primary address? When I select the users.. it gives me the old xxxx.com "user".. but theprimary address is yyyy.com and most of my new users don't even have a xxxx.com address... or should I just call tech support? EDIT***.. I used the '/mailformbx' switch.. and all is well..
