Curious about how WebMonitor reads/filters urls. Came across a site where I have a couple of accounts setup to block all unkown file types. With this enabled the following is how WebMonitor sees the link. **=tt

Actual url:
h**p://query.mcms.mavenapps.net/mcms/query?s=foxnews1&u=foxnews1-foxnews&debug=false&q=%2F%2FvideoRelease%5B%28%40assetId%3D%278052415%27%29%20and%20%28%40releaseTemplateName%3D%27defaultFlv%27%29%5D&start=0&stop=100

What WebMonitor sees:
h**p://query.mcms.mavenapps.net/mcms/query?s=foxnews1&u=foxnews1-foxnews&debug=false&q=//videoRelease[(@assetId=-8052415-) and (@releaseTemplateName=-defaultFlv-)]&start=0&stop=100

The blue part of the url is the part that WebMonitor recognizes but lists the entire url. It then blocks the site based on a blank Content-Type. If all unknown attachments are allowed then it sees the full url.

The difference between these two URLs is simply the special characters listed - A URL cannot contain any special character, so in order to send these they are translated to a numeric code = %XX - This chart shows how to decode those URLs:

It seems that the two URLs are identical, but simply displayed differently. Can you further explain what seems to be occurring?

That link, when I visit it seems to just be a page of text, with nothing downloaded. Perhaps a playlist of sort?:
