I was just using dashboard today for the first time since upgrading to ME14.  And while I like the features and the information I can get from it, this thing acting "like a pig"...  I put it in quotes because the app is only using 41mb of ram in the process list, but whenever I try and do a search for spam in the last week or month, this thing just comes to a grinding halt.

The database is moved onto our SQL 2000 box, connected over a Gbit network, so the lag shouldn't be terribly bad.  We didn't have issues running reports from ME12.  It would take a minute or two, but eventually would give us the information we requested.  This thing just sits there and fills in some information, then pauses again (maybe to update).  I can't even choose file and quit...

Any ideas or issues you're finding with Dashboard's reporting?

I like your analogy. Dashboard is good, but...

Out of interest, expose the I/O Read Bytes column on task mangler, and take a look at contentsecurity.as.attendant.exe.

Here are my findings on the file-based database, not SQL. I should add that it's a 3-user system that sees 1500 messages a day. http://forums.gfi.com/fb.aspx?m=900769250
