Dashboard - Constant Hourglass

I love the idea of the dashboard. However, the server we have just installed 14 on has a problem where the dashboard takes an age to load and, when loaded, there is a constant hour glass making it difficult to do anything with it.

Any suggestion as to how to resolve this? My AV is not scanning the GFI folder or the dashboard process.

Status: offline 		Mine is similar, but still works eventually. It appears to be querying the spam.mdb in the Reporter directory. On a system that has a small spam.mdb file, it works swiftly. On a system where spam.mdb is >200MB, it takes ages.

Yes - over 300Mb.

Status: offline 		I've just taken a look, and this is all the historical data of spam in various tables amounting to around 1 million records. Mine is going back almost 3 years.

I've not yet tried, but trimming old data from this file and compressing would probably help.

Status: offline 		I've trimmed the database using Access, then compacted it, and the hourglass doesn't appear now. It's still quite slow though.
