When will GFI be able to handle file names like this?

Hi Roger.
If everything goes well, UNICODE support should be in the program in October, this year.

If you have update notification on, you should see it when you start the program.
Anyway, this will be a major change, so if you visit the forum from time to time, you can't miss it.

Looks like something didn't go very well. It's already November now.
I've just found out about the program and used it to backup some of my files (and got hundreds of warnings for the Unicode filenames). Unicode support is absolutely necessary in this age.
