I get the next critical failure message:

If you're receiving this kind of messages you need to contact the their sender to let them know that it is MailSecurity on their side that is failing, not yours.

actually my server is failing like the thread owner describes.

I already identified that this is caused by sending an pdf-file attachment which has pdf version 6.

-> there's no issue with pdf version 4 files
-> there's no issue sending pdf version 6 attachments within the Exchange organisation

I already spent severeal hours on the mailsecurity configuration webpage. -> No idea what could be the reasion.

May you could help me on this issue?

I applied this patch, but the problem continuous (it was not solved). After installing the pacth, the server was not restarted. In this case, four jpg files with 2MB of size everyone were sent without compressing and I got the same critical failure:

Status: offline 		I am having the same issue and it seems to only happen when sending .pdf files.  We installed GFI on 4/18/09, so we should already have the patch that was suggested in a previous post.  What else could be causing this?
