I already configured the Program Updates>Properties to include "Microsoft Updates - Chinese version" option to scan my Chinese W2K workstation. But what so happened was, no Chinese patches were found missing in my workstation. Actually I had not installed any patch in my pc.

Could anybody please help and advise?

ycleung,

Please note that the application must be restarted after changes in program updates in order to get the files accordingto the settings.

What build of LNSS are you using?

Dear Pisani,
  Thanks, it works after I restarted the tool.
  Anyway, do I need to scan all the target computers before a patch could be applied? My division has over 150+ computers. When a new patch comes out, I want to apply the patch directly to all pc without going through the time-consuming scanning process.
  Please advise.

You can do the custom patching if that is the case.

Regarding your original issue, can  you please post the output of the scanning thread activity. This will be found at the bottom of the scan. Note that we require the scanning thread activity (not the Main thread activity).

Also, which version and build are you running? You can check this from LANguard NSS -> Version information.
