I have removed all of the default entries in the content checking rule, they are the same as the default ones from MailEssentials which I'm also using. I then added my own, only about ten rules with words and/or conditions, all is well so far.

I made a change to the default content checking rule earlier today. I needed to modify again later today, when I went back in there were duplicate rules listed and some were missing. I clicked on the edit button for a rule, and I was then editing a different rule - one of the missing ones? I exported the rules to a text file and it had dups, and or missing words, etc. like it was corrupted. Since there was only 10 conditions total, I deleted and recreated a rule and all seems okay again. I saw someone else had this same issue a while back, anybody else ever see this? Even now, when I export the rule, they're all listed 4 times?

Yeah, I posted about this some time back.

You did exactly what I did to get around the problem. Currently I am not using the Content checking portion. I am letting MailEssentials do that in it's spam filter. I'd like to get it working in MailSecurity but it seems to be a bug they need to work out and get an update for.
