I'm trying to understand how the Content Checking works....

I'm trying to catch e-mails with a subject like "Fedex Tracking Number 123456".  However, the last few digits seem to change with each e-mail.

It looks as if just putting "Fedex Tracking Number" into the subject field doesn't work.  Is there a way of entering a wildcard (i.e. "Fedex Tracking Number *").

Also, is it case sensitive?  ("Fedex Tracking Number" as opposed to "fedex tracking number")

Many thanks.

I just tried combinations of wildcards and it does not seem to be supported :(
Would be a very nice feature though!

For those, I use GFI Mail Essentials.

I use the content checking in GFI Mail Security to filter urls (like http://blahblahblah.cn/ahsjShd) - I block the .cn part.  Works rather well.

See if "Match Whole Words Only" is checked.  It should not be checked.  Its worth a shot to try, but like I said, I usually do my subject line filtering with ME so I don't know if it functions the same.  (In ME, I cannot have the "Match Whole Words Only" checked off it I want it to filter only part of the subject line.)

Thanks, I totally missed that little checkbox.

Im trying to block key characters now with no luck. The keywords work fine, but when I put in
"ф"  or "ы" they do not come up as blocked. My list works as other keywords get blocked.
