Cannot scan system after deployment of XP SP3

Status: offline 		Following the deployment of Windows XP SP3 to a client machine, LNSS can no longer scan that PC for further updates/patches. The Scanner Activity Window says 'No Computers Found' - for some reason LNSS cannot ping the host to see if it is alive to be scanned. Is there a way to shut off the ping-pong before a scan? If not, how do I make the client machine respond to pings again after installing SP3? FWIW there is no firewall active on the client machine to stop it from responding to pings.

Status: offline 		Can you verify that you can ping the XP SP3 machines as well?  There is a way to shut of the ping test, however some other form of network available needs to be setup (a specific port being open for instance.)  The information can be found in Configuration -> Scanning Profiles -> %PROFILE NAME% -> Scanner Options.
